Notes:
1. Repeater or Base transmits a PL, so you can use tone squelch
in you
want.
2. Base Stations that monitor this frequency may have tone squelch
tuned on. Be sure to transmit this PL Tone.
3. This is a Nationwide Calling Frequency. Use this to get in touch
with a station, then MOVE to a different frequency.
4. Program the repeater as normal, but also as a Simplex frequency. If
the repeater goes down, communications will take place in "talkaround
mode",
where radio traffic is transmitted in simplex on the repeaters output
frequency. Don't forget to program your radio to transmit the PL tone
on these "talkaround" channels!
