Wayne County ARES has been organized, under the direction of EC Steven Hamilton, KC9GMX. Wayne County ARES uses all of the frequencies listed on the Frequencies page.

WHERE Amateur Radio Club and Wayne County ARES are two seperate entities. Membership in one does not constitute membership in the other.

Wayne County EMA monitors Low Band 52.37 and West 625 100% of the time when active.
If you do not have a 440 or 6 meter capable radio, and all you have is 2 meter, try the Triple 5 channel to see if anyone is monitoring and can relay any traffic you may have.

If you are not in range of the 625 repeater, but are still in the county, try using 625 Talkaround. Make sure that you state you are transmitting Talkaround!
