Ham Resources Past Club Activities

       Wayne County Skywarn is an informal group of Hams and Non-Hams who work directly with the Wayne County EMA. Hams voluntarily go to different points around the county and relay to the EMA office weather reports. To get involved with Skywarn, Please call the EMA office at 618-842-3884.
       There will be some CBL training available on the CLASSES page soon, that will highlight some of what Ham Skywarn Spotters do.

       Wayne County ARES is an Emergency Radio Service registered with the National radio Club, ARRL. Wayne County ARES has an informal agreement with Wayne County EMA to provide Communications for any situation in the county that the EMA requests. Wayne County ARES is coordinated by Ron Heifner, WT9H. To join ARES, you must be a licensed Ham, and file a registration form with Ron. Please see his contact info on the front page.
       There will be some CBL training available on the CLASSES page soon, that will highlight some of what ARES members do.
